PEOPLE
& COMMUNITY

A Farm Grows With Its People.

Around 70 people work at Uhoreru, across farming, packing, hospitality and other parts of the operation.

Training is an important part of the farm’s development, from technical skills and food handling to the practical knowledge needed to grow crops well.

Our connection with the surrounding community also extends beyond employment. The farm works with local schools as a living classroom, supports access to clean water through boreholes, maintains a tree nursery and shares agricultural knowledge with local farmers.

Women form an important part of the farm workforce, and we aim to create a working environment where people are treated fairly, supported and given room to develop.
